Orion76
Orion76 is a precision profile for one flagship hitscan rifleman. The heart of it is three range gears — Close, Mid, and Long — each carrying its own tuned recoil-behavior preset, swapped mid-fight with a quick stick gesture. Around that it layers strafe movement support, hip-fire stabilization, and optional automation for abilities and perks.
At a glance
| Game | Hero shooter — one flagship hitscan rifleman |
| Platform | Xbox / PC (XB version) · PlayStation (PS version) |
| Device | Cronus Zen |
| Style | In-hand precision — you play, it assists |
- Three range gears — Close, Mid, and Long, each with its own dialed recoil card. Ships tuned; every value is adjustable.
- One-gesture gear swaps — switch ranges without opening a menu, confirmed by rumble and the Zen's eye color
- Strafe support — side-to-side or rotational movement assistance, with speed and radius dials
- Hip-fire stabilization — steadies tracking when you're firing from the hip
- Perk-aware — tell it which perks you picked in-game and the compensation follows
- Optional auto extras — auto-ability, auto-jump, and auto-rocket, all off by default
Before you start
- Load Orion76 onto your Zen through the Programmer — one tap, no files.
- Use the standard console bindings the profile expects: LB sprint, LT Helix Rockets, RB Biotic Field, RS click melee.
- Everything you set saves to the Zen automatically and survives power cycles.
Keep LS click free
Orion76 uses LS click for gear switching — leave it unbound in your game bindings, and keep everything else on standard mapping. The gestures and auto extras press the default buttons; remapping sprint, melee, or abilities will confuse the profile.
Quick start
- Load the profile and jump in — the recoil gears come pre-tuned, so it works out of the box.
- Swap gears to match the fight: LS click, LS click = Close, LS click, then LB = Mid, hold LB while firing = Long. The Zen's eye color confirms which gear is live.
- Want to tune? Hold LT and press Menu — pick a gear on the Range page with D-pad Left / Right, press A to open its card, adjust, B to save.
- Picked up perks in a match? Hold D-pad Up for a beat to open the perk overlay and flip on what you took.
Range gears
Recoil behaves differently at different ranges, so Orion76 doesn't use one setting — it uses three. Each gear is a complete recoil card (first-shot counter, sustained counter, ramp-in time, stim offset) tuned for that engagement distance. Swapping gears swaps the whole card at once.
| Gear | Role | Zen eye |
|---|---|---|
| Close | The in-your-face gear | Breathes deep pink |
| Mid | The standard poke-range gear | Breathes purple |
| Long | The beam gear for holding angles at distance — lighter touch, faster ramp | Breathes indigo, controller hums softly while active |
Close and Mid picks are confirmed with distinct rumble pulses. The swap window after the first LS click is short — make the second press quick and deliberate.
Controls
| Input | What it does |
|---|---|
| LS click, LS click | Switch to the Close gear |
| LS click, then LB tap | Switch to the Mid gear |
| Hold LB while firing | Long gear while held (steady rumble hum = active) |
| Hold D-pad Up | Open the perk overlay (Stim Pack / Tac Salvo / Auto-Helix) |
| LT + Menu | Open / close the config menu |
| RB / LB (in menu) | Next / previous page — Range, Strafe, Stabilizer, Auto |
| D-pad Up / Down (in menu) | Move through rows |
| D-pad Left / Right (in menu) | Adjust the selected value |
| A (in menu) | Confirm / open the selected gear's card / toggle a row |
| B (in menu) | Save and back / close |
While the config menu is open, your inputs stay on the Zen screen — nothing leaks into the game, so it's safe to tune from a lobby or spawn room.
Settings
Range page — per-gear recoil card
Each of the three gears has its own copy of these four values:
| Setting | Range | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| First Shot | 0–100 | How much counter the opening shots carry, before the ramp kicks in. |
| Sustain | 0–100 | Where the counter settles once you're holding fire. |
| Ease In | 100–900 ms | How quickly the counter ramps from First Shot up to Sustain. |
| Stim Str | 0–10 | Extra offset applied during the Stim Pack window (only matters with the Stim Pack perk on). |
Strafe page
| Setting | Range | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Strafe | On / Off | Master switch for movement support while firing. |
| Type | Side / Rotational | Side = lateral shuffle; Rotational = circling movement. Speed and radius are remembered separately for each type. |
| Speed | 0–10 | How fast the strafe moves. |
| Radius | 0–10 | How wide the strafe travels. |
Stabilizer page
| Setting | Range | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Stabilizer | On / Off | Master switch for hip-fire steadying. |
| Hip Strength | 0–10 | How firmly tracking is steadied while hip-firing. |
Auto page
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Auto-Ability | Off | After your first manual RB, re-presses Biotic Field automatically each time it's back up (faster cadence when Stim Pack is on). |
| Auto-Jump | Off | While sprinting forward, press A once to start hop-chaining; release forward or tap LB to stop. |
| Auto-Rocket | Off | After your first manual LT, re-fires Helix Rockets automatically on cooldown. |
Perk overlay
When you take perks mid-match, hold D-pad Up for a beat — the overlay slides onto the Zen screen with a rumble. D-pad Up / Down moves the highlight, A flips the highlighted row and closes, B closes without changing anything.
| Row | What it does |
|---|---|
| Stim Pack | Matches the in-game Stim Pack perk. After you stim, your current gear's Stim Str offset is applied for the stim window, so the counter tracks the faster fire. |
| Tac Salvo | Matches the in-game Tac Salvo perk. Tap Y to pop Tactical Visor and it fires Helix immediately, then keeps them coming through the salvo window. |
| Auto-Helix | Fires Helix Rockets for you on cooldown whenever you're holding fire — no perk required. |
Good to know
- The Zen's eye is your HUD. Breathing color = current gear (pink Close, purple Mid, indigo Long). It cycles fast while you fire and goes rainbow while you sprint.
- Feel the confirmations. Gear picks answer with distinct rumble pulses, and Long hums steadily the whole time it's live — you never have to look down.
- The presets are the product. The three gear cards ship dialed. Play them stock first; reach for the knobs only after you know what you want to change.
- Everything persists. Gear cards, strafe, stabilizer, auto toggles, and perk flips all save to the Zen automatically.
