Troubleshooting

Symptom-first — find yours, fix it, get back in. Anything not covered here, reach out in the Discord.

The Programmer won't see my Zen

  • Use a Chromium browser — Chrome or Edge. Safari and Firefox can't talk to the Zen.
  • Make sure the computer is connected to the Zen's PROG port (right side).
  • Close Zen Studio if it's open — only one program can hold the connection at a time.
  • Still nothing? Unplug the Zen, plug it back in, and press CONNECT again. A fresh replug clears a stuck connection; reopening the browser doesn't.

Install failed partway

Unplug and replug the Zen, then press PROGRAM again. The install verifies everything it writes, so a retry picks up clean — nothing half-loaded gets left behind.

The script shows on my Zen but won't run

Your Zen's firmware is likely behind the current baseline. Update to firmware 2.3.0 or newer through Cronus's official tools at guide.cronus.support, then reinstall through the Programmer.

My PS5 stopped accepting the Zen

The bypass doesn't survive every reboot or unplug. Run the bypass steps again from the top — it takes about a minute.

The screen says STUCK / red light and rumble

That's the failsafe doing its job — the game hung (disconnect, unexpected prompt, frozen load) and the script stopped instead of pressing into it. Clear whatever the game did, then click RS to resume. Each product guide's Good to know section covers its failsafe's specifics.

The loop runs but lands off-target

Timing scripts assume default controller mapping and consistent game settings. Check those first, then reach for the script's own knob — Run Time on Atlas, Speed w/ Ball and Jumpshot Timing on Uranus. Each guide's Settings table tells you which direction to nudge.

The Programmer says the serial doesn't match

The Zen you plugged in isn't the one registered to your account — wrong cable, a friend's device, or a swap. The Programmer stays locked until the registered Zen is connected. If you've genuinely changed devices, open an Access Help ticket in Discord — that's the reset path.

I switched to a new Zen

Open an Access Help ticket in Discord. The team resets your registration, you register the new serial once, and every script you own carries over automatically — purchases live on your Discord account, not the device.

I bought a script but can't load it

Sign in on universalgpc.com with the same Discord account you purchased with — access follows your Discord. If the Programmer shows Verification required or Approval pending, your serial registration hasn't been approved yet — see Registration. Just got approved? The site can take a few minutes to catch up.
