Installing Scripts
The click-by-click for loading any script onto your Zen. First time here? Make sure Registration is done and your Zen is wired and on current firmware.
What you need

The install
- Sign in on universalgpc.com with Sign In with Discord.
- Open the Programmer from the site menu.
- Plug the Zen's PROG port into your computer and press CONNECT. Your browser will ask permission to talk to the Zen — allow it. If Zen Studio is open, close it first; only one program can hold the device.
- Pick your script from your library.
- Press PROGRAM and leave the Zen alone for a moment. The install writes and verifies everything before it calls itself done.
- Done. Your script's name shows on the Zen's slot screen. Unplug the PROG cable, connect to your console, and play — the script's own guide takes it from here.
If anything hiccups
Unplug the Zen, plug it back in, press CONNECT, then PROGRAM again. The install verifies as it writes, so a retry always starts clean. More in Troubleshooting.
Updates
Updates use the exact same flow — when a script gets rebuilt, the Programmer already has the new build. Plug in, CONNECT, PROGRAM, current. The Updates page lists what's shipped.
Slots
The Zen holds up to eight scripts at once. Installing adds to a free slot without touching what's already on the device — your other scripts stay put. Flip between slots on the Zen itself.
